Job Details: 

Are you a seasoned financial professional with a knack for accuracy, compliance, and strategic insight?

We are looking for a skilled Financial Controller to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing our financial and accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance. This includes;

• Supporting financial decision-making through meticulous collection, analysis, investigation, and reporting of financial data.
• Streamlining and automating month-end financial reporting procedures for timely and accurate reports.
• Implementing processes and controls to enhance internal financial control standards.
• Maintaining general ledgers and trial balances according to IFRS and accounting standards.
• Providing technical support and computations for complex accounting transactions.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting or similar
• Honours in Accounting or similar
• Articles in an accounting firm advantageous
• Professional Membership registration: SAICA, CIMA, or similar
• 4+ years experience in similar role
• Broad knowledge of accounting practices and processes
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Performance and deadline-oriented
• Strong financial and business acumen
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and solve problems
• Administrative management experience
• Team-oriented and collaborative
• Conscientious with a strong work ethic
