This role offers an opportunity to drive the growth and implementation of key company strategies within the SADC region. You will be responsible for proactively and strategically driving sales activities to achieve specific sales and margin targets while identifying and managing opportunities to grow revenue and increase the product breadth base within the SADC region.

As Business Development Manager, the ability to develop creative business solutions, drive educated and informed discussion with your clients as well as ensure a steady flow of leads and opportunities for the business will be of paramount importance. You will drive the strategic innovation, growth, and profitability of sales and solutions within Tarsus Distribution and support technology partners in their journey to building strategies for their businesses and services. This will allow you the opportunity to become a trusted advisor within the industry.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Tertiary qualification preferable; a BComm is ideal
  • Able to communicate in Portuguese and English proficiently
  • Knowledge of the distributor-to-partner and partner-to-end-user experience preferred
  • 4+ years of experience in technology sales and product / account management experience in a similar role
  • Experience in sales within the SADC region is preferred
  • Project management and problem-solving capabilities are key
  • Financial and business acumen
  • Proficient in MS office suite, specifically advanced skills in Excel
  • Reliable transport
  • This is an office-based position in the Woodmead branch, servicing the SADC region
