Job Details: 

We are looking for a highly motivated and proactive Internal Account Manager to join our Mid-Market Sales Team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, achieving revenue and profit targets, and managing all aspects of customer accounts. This role involves processing customer orders, managing backorders, providing quotations, and consistently meeting sales targets.

Communication with the relevant account manager regarding any issues is essential, as is regular customer engagement on price changes, product information, and returns.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the ICT industry
  • Good understanding of the ICT industry (distributor/vendor/retailer) and the ability to stay updated with technology and industry developments
  • Experience in the sale of enterprise solutions in the ICT industry will be an advantage
  • Ability to follow up constantly with high attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of product offerings as well as brand-specific knowledge of products and processes
  • Strong customer experience orientation including sales acumen and technical knowledge
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in the MS Office suite
  • Sound work ethic and excellent record-keeping abilities
  • Effective time management skills
  • Reliable transport
  • This is an office-based position in the Woodmead branch
