Product Manager: HPI - Poly (JHB) - #437-02

Job Details: Are you an experienced and energetic technology enthusiast who, through excellent business relationships, can establish and grow a new brand within Tarsus?

In this role as a Product Manager for Tarsus Distribution, you will manage all aspects of the distribution process for your allocated brand. Your role will be to build and maintain customer and vendor relationships while achieving individual brand budgets and sales growth plans. Making use of these relationships you would be responsible for establishing yourself as a trusted advisor and go-to person in the market while promoting the Poly brand and increasing market share.

It is key to demonstrate an understanding of vendor processes and strategy to make product management decisions, plan, and meet vendor requirements. You will therefore be required to develop a channel to sell the product to by collaborating with the relevant stakeholders to achieve the effective promotion of the Poly product. You will also be required to implement plans to drive sales and proactively implement action plans for aging inventory and maximising stock effectiveness.

Requirements:

• Grade 12, or equivalent
• Tertiary qualification preferable (BComm ideal)
• IT/Technology/Consumer Electronic sales/marketing/product management experience
• Good understanding of Distribution and experience at the Distributor/Reseller level
  Related working experience
• Inventory management experience advantageous
• Advanced Excel skills essential
• Financial and business acumen
• Strong analytical skills
• Communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal
• Attention to detail
• Own reliable transport
• This is an office-based position in the Woodmead branch
