Job Details: 

Are you a motivated individual with a hunter mentality and a passion for customer service and sales support?  We invite you to join our dynamic team in the Gauteng branch as a Key Account Manager.

 

As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving the achievement of sales and product targets through proactive engagement with customers and stakeholders as well as liaise effectively with vendors and the sales team to facilitate smooth communication and collaboration.

 

In addition, you will be required to plan an approach to achieve allocated monthly targets, identify means of engaging with clients to build sound relationships, organise specific events for clients in collaboration with the Marketing team and provide forecasting input to Product Managers using knowledge of market dynamics.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Tertiary qualification preferably a degree or diploma
  • 2+ years’ experience in the IT Sector
  • Relevant sales certifications related to sales in the IT industry
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve revenue and gross profit targets
  • Experience in brand marketing (products and processes) with financial and business acumen
  • Effective time and people management skills
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
  • Good understanding of the ICT industry including the ability to keep up with technology and industry developments
  • Proficient in MS office suite, particularly advanced skills in Excel
  • Strong understanding of Enterprise, Cyber Security and solution selling will be advantageous.

  • This is an on-the-road position around Gauteng, with office time in Woodmead.
